It all started with an idea.
Local business woman Kathleen Neset wanted to improve visitors' experiences to the Tioga Municipal Airport. Previous accommodations were not what one would expect flying into the Oil Capital of North Dakota.
Where others saw challenges, Kathy saw an opportunity to bring more visitors to Tioga. A town's local airport is the gateway to the community and a way to increase business and traffic through the town.
Kathy approached Warren Pietsch and Brian Sturm of Pietsch Aircraft and Restoration and the Minot Aero Center with the idea of bringing an F.B.O into Tioga. They agreed to provide and support the Tioga Aero Center with their experience and expertise. We are pleased to expand the Minot Aero Center's standard of excellence further into the Bakken and provide our customers the maintenance support from a company they can trust Pietsch Aircraft Restoration now providing on call maintenance in Tioga, ND.
